Northeast girls basketball standout Dariana Doumis set to sign June 19th, 2012
Northeast hasn’t exactly been a girls basketball powerhouse in Broward County in recent years, but the Hurricanes are a program that’s growing.
One mark of that growth? The fact that guard/forward Dariana Doumis is set to sign on Tuesday. Doumis, who finished her high school career with 1,144 points, 592 assists, 532 rebounds and 324 steals, has received offers from several schools including Judson University, Bethany College, Tennessee Temple and Doane College.
The four-year varsity starter is set to make her announcement at a signing ceremony at Northeast on Tuesday at noon. She has also played softball and flag football for the Hurricanes.
