CWOSSA boys soccer underway at Woodside Park June 12th, 2013
Townsquare Media in Temple has put together a day of Texas High School All-Star Soccer Games, which are scheduled for June 22 at Wildcat Stadium in Temple.
The girls game will be at 9:30 a.m. and the boys game will follow at noon, and the North teams are filled with players from the Dallas area.

The UIL soccer regional tournaments are loaded with local teams, and perhaps no team is more excited to be five rounds into the playoffs than the North Dallas boys.
This year, the Bulldogs got their big breakthrough.
In 2009, North Dallas went four rounds in the playoffs and then lost to Longview Pine Tree, 1-0.

West Mesquite soccer player Isai Velasquez scores 100th career goal March 20th, 2013
Mesquite ISD athletic director Steve Bragg said in an email that West Mesquite senior Isai Velasquez scored his 100th career goal last week. There has never been an MISD soccer player score 100 career goals in varsity games.
Here is a year-by-year breakdown of Velasquez’s goals and awards from coach Alex Figert:
2010 – 11 goals & 3 assists after being called up to varsity half way through the year.

After overcoming injuries, Grapevine Faith’s Emory Cason signs with Baylor for soccer February 10th, 2013
Grapevine Faith senior Emory Cason has suffered two torn ACLs and a broken collarbone during her years as a star soccer and track athlete. But she got a big reward this week when she signed with Baylor, the defending Big 12 champion in soccer.
“Emory is a fast, very athletic defender,” Baylor coach Paul Jobson said. “She is able to read the game very well and has the ability to be a lockdown defender in the Big 12.”
